There is something exceptional about 100 Black Men of Maryland, Inc. The organization is more than a group of members; it is men united in a “culture of service and commitment.”

Our loyalty and dedication as committed participants means that we encourage others to adopt our philosophy. We petition the public sector to invest personally in young people whether or not they are family members, and to assist youth in the fulfillment of their dreams that often seem impossible to attain. Service to young women and men keep us interested and committed to the goals of the 100.

As a group we engage in good human relations, emphasizing kindness, courtesy, and charity. We live the words of Frederick Douglass that "It is easier to build strong children than it is to repair broken men."

Above all, we exist to make a difference in the lives of others.  We help those who have limited direction and purpose and seek to uplift communities that are without hope.
